The Biophysical Society Student Chapter at UNM was established
in the summer of 2018. The purpose of this chapter is to foster the
development and advancement of biophysical skills and knowledge
within the undergraduate and graduate student populations and to
provide networking and career advancement opportunities through
both the national BPS organization and through active biophysics
labs at UNM.
Biophysics has a strong representation within the UNM family and
current active projects range from high resolution imaging of live cells
and single molecules, hyperspectral and fluorescence lifetime imaging,
microscope construction and development, super resolution imaging,
nanomaterials, high throughput molecular modeling and many others.
